Full Description
Day 1 : Mnemba island snorkelling
Start the day with the Mnemba snorkelling tour, our driver will pick you up from your hotel to drive you to the beach where you will begin the tour.
Mnemba Island is a single small atoll located about 3 km off the northeast coast of Unguja, the largest island of the Zanzibar Archipelago, Tanzania, opposite Muyuni Beach.
A very private and protected area (you can therefore not enter the Island, but will be able to admire the island from close during this tour).
You will depart from your hotel and head up north, the captain and snorkelling instructors will be waiting to set you up with all the equipment you need.
You will then go to the prime snorkelling spots just off of the island to experience hundreds of different sea creatures and the bluest waters you’ll ever see!
Nungwi Aquarium : After the snorkelling experience, you will be driven to the Turtle aquarium .
Discover a large, natural tidal pool in the coral rock behind the beach where the turtles swim. Buy some seaweed from the turtles' carers to feed them or get into the pool for a closer encounter to swim with them.
Learn all about the rehabilitation project and the efforts to protect local baby turtles. Gain an insight into the life cycle of turtles, their food, and more.
Kendwa Sunset : End the day with a memorable Sunset Dhow Cruise experience.
Sail into the golden horizon aboard a traditional Zanzibari dhow and discover the magic of Zanzibar’s sunset from the ocean.
Enjoy a selection of fresh tropical fruits and musical island rhythms set the mood. Whether you choose to relax, dance, or simply watch the sun dip below the horizon, this two-hour cruise is the perfect way to end your day.
After the sunset tour, the driver will drive you back to your hotel with a camera full of unforgettable memories.
Day 2 : Jozani Forest
Start the day by being picked up from your hotel to Jozani.
Explore the Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, the largest area of mature forest in Zanzibar. A car will take you there, and a guide will walk you around the ancient hardwood forest and mangrove swamps. It is also home to the Red Colobus monkeys, unique to Zanzibar, with less than 2000 remaining in the world.
During this tour at Jozani forest you will learn more about them. Kindly note that in the Jozani forest ,guides are a government guide and it can be shared. After the tour, our driver will drop you off at your hotel where you will be back full of nice memories
Kuza Cave : Your next stop will be Kuza cave. It offers a unique experience for adventurous nature-lovers, snorkelers, divers and people interested in Swahili Culture. The cave is a 50 meter round sinkhole in the middle of a small jungle in Jambiani, East Coast Zanzibar.
Secret Beach : Visit the stunning Secret Beach, renowned for its pristine white sands. Here, you can luxuriate in sunbathing, unwind by the shore, and indulge in refreshing swims
The Rock : Take memorable pictures at The Rock Restaurant, a unique spot in Zanzibar
After your visit to the Secret beach, you will continue your adventure and will be taken to the Rock restaurant, which is an extraordinary seafood restaurant located on a rock in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The perfect place to take some nice holiday pictures! You can relax over a local food lunch (a prior reservation from you is required, the price of lunch or dinner is not included)
End the day, by being dropped off to your hotel with a camera full of memorable pictures.
